Characters of Finite Quasigroups V: Linear Characters

The linear basic characters of a finite, non-empty quasigroup are all shown to come from the derived quotient. Under multiplication, they form an abelian group which acts on the non-linear basic characters. Aspects of the structure of quasigroups with a unique non-linear basic character are investigated.
