Abstract
I study the effects of compositeness at HERA in charged current interactions. First, I demonstrate that the charged current interaction can be used to probe compositeness to a somewhat higher energy scale than can the neutral current interaction by using a simple form factor modification of the vector boson propagator. I then consider several modifications of the standard model charged current structure by the addition of effective fourpoint interactions with various Lorentz transformation properties. The result of the calculation is that HERA can detect compositeness, if the compositeness scale is less than about 3 TeV-7 TeV depending on the form of the contact interaction.
