Abstract

Techniques that allow the user to expand and collapse the flow chart dynamically and to access the documentation supporting each step in the algorithm are presented. The authoring process is outlined, including the construction of flow charts and the creation of hypermedia links. Discussion is focused on the multiple ways in which these techniques can be applied to a variety of physician tasks.
