Abstract
Dynamic TDD (D-TDD) has gained attention as a way to deliver highly dense two-way traffic. However, the outage performance of D-TDD system is severely limited by strong interference from co-channel cells in their downlink, while a reference cell is in its uplink cycle. We consider two kinds of time slot allocation strategies for suppressing the co-channel interference. Outage performance of the associated proposed systems is also compared with that of an adaptive array antenna system. Proposed systems show promise and offer a compromise between complexity and availability.
