Abstract

The next time you listen to an advertisement on the television or read an ad in the newspaper, take notice at the use of the Internet. You will £nd that in many cases, the only method of contact provided is the company’s Web site. In fact, many companies are almost making it dif£cult to £nd their telephone information because they are requiring users to £rst seek out information “on our Web site.” We are truly an information society, and the Web impacts how we pay bills, shop for merchandise, or even £nd the school lunch menus for our children.
