College chemistry and piaget: An analysis of gender difference, cognitive abilities, and achievement measures seventeen years apart

Abstract

An analysis of gender difference, cognitive abilities and achievement was discussed. Inventory of Piaget's Developmental Tasks (IPDT) was used to study the difference between students from different decades. Results showed that this test provides a concept for studying possible reasons for the lack of students success in college chemistry courses.
