Abstract
We stress that due to Glauber shadowing the parity-violating asymmetry AL(pN) is even larger (by a factor 1.7) than the large AL(pH2O) observed by Lockyer et al. We point out that an increase of the ratio AL(pA)/AL(pN) at Eincp10 GeV would indicate the importance of compressed quark-gluon configurations in a nucleon.
