Abstract

The compact multichannel 2 KV arbitrary waveform generator for ferroelectric device arrays was presented. The arbitrary waveform signal generation was handled by a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) and an erasable programmable read only memory (EPROM) was used to program the FPGA. A verilog hardware description language (VHDL) was written that generated the signal, synthesized it and then downloaded it to the FPGA. The ferroelectric device required high voltage driver and the high voltage signals were produced by using hybrid op-amps.
