    Abstract

Some interesting aspects of millimeter-wave (35, 94, 220 GHz) scattering properties of various types of ice crystals are presented. These ice crystals include three types of bullet rosettes which are compared with hexagonal columns and hexagonal plates. The elevation angle dependence of differential reflectivity and linear depolarization ratio for certain bullet rosettes show distinct signatures that are different than columns and plates.
