Abstract

The workshop provided participants with specific guidelines and materials for implementing an information system, from making the decision to automate through the evaluation of the installed system. Experts in administration, medical information system design and development, and information system and health program evaluation served as workshop leaders for each of the following: making the decision to automate; the decision to buy or build the system; and system implementation and evaluation.
