Abstract

Condition monitoring and lifetime estimation were proposed to enable predictive maintenance programs for CO2 lasers. The cooling system of the CO2 laser was monitored to infer its health condition. A Weibull distribution was used to model the hazard function that depends on the operating parameters and the condition of the machine.
