Abstract
The notion of conjunctive descriptions of signals as a generalization of the time-frequency distributions was introduced some time ago. This paper discusses some of those which are akin to Rihaczek distribution but based on non-Fourier transforms. For few deterministic signals they are computed and a visual comparison is made with the conventional Wigner distribution. In case of stochastic signals alternative schemes for obtaining smooth distributions are suggested.
