Abstract
Two design criteria are introduced to improve the power of the multivariate lack of fit test for a linear multiresponse model. These criteria are extensions of the Λ1 and Λ2-optimality criteria discussed by Jones and Mitchell (1978) for the single-response case. A procedure is presented for the generation of an optimal design based on the Λ2-criterion.
