Abstract

The emerging trends towards mobility and big data analysis strongly contribute to the success of cloud computing. Despite the numerous advantages cloud computing still has not reached its full potential due to the privacy and security concerns of today's cloud service users. In order to improve trust on clouds, in this paper we propose a cloud ontology which supports assurance and security initiatives. Finally, we show how we implemented the introduced ontology using the widely used Protégé tool.
