Abstract
Topochemical reduction of CaEu2Ti2O8, a new n = 1 mixed Ruddlesden-Popper/Dion-Jacobson phase prepared by divalent ion-exchange of NaEuTiO4, yields the non-defective n = 2 Ruddlesden-Popper phase Eu2CaTi2O7.
