Abstract

Correction Notice This correction pertains to page 6, section D in which the work estimating the well-clear distance was mis-attributed to University of Central Florida instead of MIT Lincoln Laboratory, in the original article when it was first published online [https://doi.org/10.2514/1.I010924]. Per reference [35], the work estimating the well-clear distance was performed by MIT Lincoln Laboratory. This work was referenced during the safety symposium discussion by an attendee from the University of Central Florida. The second correction is in page 6, section D, in which “transponders” should be replaced with “remote ID”. Per the footnote reference on page 1 of this article, the FAA rule requires remote ID to be broadcasted or aircraft to be flown at FAA designated sites. Transponders (receive and respond systems) are specifically prohibited. Thus, this word is incorrect and should be changed to reflect the wording of the FAA regulation.
