CORRIGENDUM: Metrics for evaluating tropical cyclones in climate data (J. Appl. Meteor. Climatol. 60, (643-660), 10.1175/JAMC-D-20-0149.1)

This corrigendum is to report a typographical error in the constants in the “pressure ACE” (PACE) equation [Eq. (3), reproduced below] in Zarzycki et al. (2021). In the original publication, the coefficients in the relationship between 10-m wind (u10) and sea level pressure (SLP) were ordered incorrectly and not converted from meters per second to knots. This error only occurred when transposing the computational results for print during the review process}they were calculated correctly in the metrics package and did not impact the results of the paper. Likewise, users of the software this paper described would have received correct answers. For readers interested in using the equation in their own work, correct coefficients are listed below.
