Abstract
Poly(L-lactide-co-meso-lactide)s were synthesized by melting and mixing L-lactide and meso-lactide in a flask under nitrogen. Tin(II) octanoate was added and the mixture transferred to silanized glass vials. The components were then polymerized at 180°C for four hours. Small-angle x-ray scattering (SAXS) experiments were then carried out on the samples.
