Abstract

The development of curriculum to train undergraduate and graduate students in advanced computation with an emphasis on the capabilities and uses of parallel computers is discussed. A sequence of courses at the senior and introductory graduate level in advanced computation is introduced. Software demonstrations for classroom use is developed and high-technology classrooms and laboratories are used. The course specification and numbering reflects the department of the instructor who introduced the course and a cross-listing with high performance computing.
