Abstract
In this paper a hardware/software scheme is proposed to explore the interface capabilities of the MC68HC11 microcontroller and the full-bridge pulse-width modulation motor driver. This will be accomplished by controlling the speed and direction of a small DC motor via the microcontroller. The advantages of this computer-controlled system over the conventional methods of DC motor control are also discussed.
