Abstract
A topic of interest to many professionals is the form of deeds in existence and associated warranties that are integral to land conveyance. While conducting research, surveyors encounter various forms of deeds. It is always refreshing to understand the nuances that are associated with the language contained in deeds. In many jurisdictions there is no prescribed deed form that is to be used. It is the intent of this article to discuss form and content of deeds as well as the warranties that arise from land conveyances.
