Abstract

Nanotubes wrapped up: In nanotubeDNA hybrid structures (see figure), defects on the sidewall of carbon nanotubes effects the dispersibility. DNA is helically wrapped around the nanotubes in an irregular pattern and structural defects on the sidewall of the nanotubes provide additional sites for binding with DNA.
