Abstract

A computer program called FINRACS (File of Normalized Radar Cross Sections) which allows users access to published normalized radar cross-section data on a variety of terrain conditions is described. The rationale, terrain classification system, and main features of the program are described with examples. Possible applications of the databank are also indicated.
