Abstract

A series of simplified α-keto heterocycle, trifluoromethyl ketone, and formyl substituted folate analogues lacking the benzoylglutamate subunit were prepared and examined as potential inhibitors of glycinamide ribonucleotide transformylase (GAR Tfase) and aminoimidazole carboxamide transformylase (AICAR Tfase).
