Determination of volume fraction in textured titanium alloy sheet

Abstract

The volume fraction in a textured titanium alloy sheet is calculated by combing the data of incomplete pole figures measured by X-ray diffraction and the data of complete pole figures calculated by means of harmonic analysis. The calculated results show that the influence of texture on quantitative phase analysis has been corrected.
