Abstract
The University of Florida has created an off-campus natural resources conservation education program in the Florida Panhandle to meet the needs of place-bound students. By partnering with the nearby University of West Florida and Pensacola Junior College and strengthening an exisiting research center, the program leverages scarce educational resources. It offers a science-based curriculum that integrates forestry and wildlife education and also allows students to focus on their own particular interests in natural resources.
