Abstract
In this paper we show a method capable of seeing at LEP the theoretically predicted differences between quark and gluon jets. The method uses multihadronic events in electron-positron annihilation at three- and four-jet topologies. It handles the energy of a jet in an adequate way and studies a large part of the multi-jet events. Another advantage of our method is that it can be carried out by analyzing hadronic events gained at one centre-of-mass energy e+e- annihilation, thus only one detector and one experimental group are needed.
