Abstract

Two versions of the free-volume theory of diffusion were compared by considering differences in the predictions for the activation energy for the diffusion process. A number of data-theory comparisons for the free-volume theory were also discussed and evaluated. It was found that the data-theory comparison was not good for the higher toluene mass fractions.
