Abstract

The visualization of two-dimensionally confined suspensions of metal nanorods was reported. Their diffusion coefficients were determined by particle tracking measurements. It was found that the diffusion coefficient was strongly affected by the surface chemistry of the nanowires and the substrates and by the dimensions of the nanowires themselves.
