Abstract
Domain switching has been observed in the 0.9PZN-O.1PT single crystals with electric field along [111] direction. Their formation as the temperature is reduced is discussed here. It is shown that these are remarkably similar to the domains formed, when the temperature is fixed and the concentration of PT varied. This may partly explain the high k values obtained in these crystals.
