Abstract

This paper deals with digital control of phaseshifted full-bridge (PS-FB) dc-dc converter. Two methods are presented to implement the PS control of dc-dc converter and their pros and cons are explained. In order to obtain best utilization of the features of limited ePWM modules in DSP to control several PS-FB dc-dc converters, an approach of how to configure the ePWM modules is presented in details. The script of necessary configurations of ePWM modules in TMS320F28335 DSP as well as experimental results of gate signals to control four FB dc-dc converters are provided. Finally, four PS-FB dc-dc converters have been built and fully controlled with DSP. Obtained experimental results are illustrated to show the performance of presented approach.
