Abstract
The factors that determine the period T(N) of a Boolean system were identified to predict T(N). It was found that T(N) can have a rather complex functional form. Predictions for T(N) show good agreement with the numerical results. Further, a method that helps uncover the period T(N) for systems of arbitrary topology was derived.
