Abstract

Over the last five years a series of education experiments were performed in introductory Thermodynamics classes for sophomore and junior engineer students. The class sizes ranged from 12 to 70, and students enrolled in the classes were from Mechanical, Aerospace, Nuclear and Civil Engineering Departments. In most cases these experiments were conducted in standard three period per week formats.
