Abstract

A study was performed on the phase diagram of PbZr1-xTi xO3 (PZT) thin films constrained by a thick substrate. Thermodynamic calculations and phase-field simulations were used for the investigation. The results showed an increase in the ferroelectric transition temperature with substrate constraint regardless of the nature of constraint.
