Abstract

We report a photovoltaic composite where semiconductor nanocrystals were used to sensitize conjugated-polymer into the infrared. The measured quantum efficiency is the highest reported so far for the harvest of the near-infrared-light (λ≥760nm) with hybrid photovoltaic-cells.
