Abstract
The eigenmodes of a spherical resonator, with a perfectly conducting wall and filled with a homogeneous isotropic chiral medium, have been identified and studied. In particular, the roots of the dispersion equation have been given as functions of beta /a, where a is the cavity radius and beta is the chirality parameter. Application as a microwave circuit element is suggested.
