Elimination of vibration localization in a micro/nanomechanical resonator array

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

A novel method has been developed to eliminate the vibration localization problem in a micro/nanomechanical resonator array with inevitable random disorder or mistuning in the system. This approach is based on the preprocessing of the input signal via a feedforward function. The derivation of this feedforward function is presented. Results from numerical simulations are presented to corroborate the validity of the proposed approach.
