Abstract
The bilocal-approximated strong-property-fluctuation theory (SPFT) was implemented in the long-wavelength regime for biaxial bianisotropic and chiroferrite composite mediums endowed with ellipsoidal microstructural topology and orientation diversity. Small differences exist between the estimates afforded currently by the SPFT on the one hand and the Bruggeman as well as the incremental Maxwell Garnett homogenisation formalisms on the other hand- as functions of volume fraction, inclusion shape, and orientation diversity. In contrast, the effect of the correlation length is significant, and is likely to yield to experimental clarification.
