Abstract
Endoscopic endonasal transsphenoidal surgery is useful for the neurosurgical treatment of pituitary adenomas, and other skull base lesions located at the midline anterior cranial skull base, cavernous sinus, optic nerve, pterygoid fossa, petrous apex, and the midline clivus or posterior fossa. These surgical techniques for endoscopic skull base approaches are described in this chapter.
