Abstract
The nuclear transparency of carbon for quasielastic events was investigated using quasielastic scattering process. The observed beam momentum dependence of the ratio of the carbon to hydrogen cross sections was presented. It is found that there is a sharp rise in transparency in carbon scattering when the beam momentum increases to 9 GeV/c.
