Abstract
As the point and quantity of condensation is not usually known a priori, any attempt to develop a predictive capability for such a system must have inherent in it a means of providing this vital information. Invariably, what this requires is good coupling of the gas phase behavior model with the appropriate hydrodynamic model. This study pertains to an attempt at developing such a model. A multiphase hydrodynamic model developed from fundamental fluid dynamics is used to describe the hydrodynamic behavior of the resulting two phases. The model which consist of a system of non-linear algebraic and ordinary differential equations was solved numerically. Output from the model solution include such variables as quantity of condensate at any point in the pipeline, the pressure drop and other hydrodynamic variables.
