Abstract

A system of MnCo2O4.5 catalyst/formic acid is proposed for the degradation of methyl orange (MO). The degradation rate of MO reached 92.7% in MnCo2O4.5/formic acid process. The efficient degradation of MnCo2O4.5/formic acid system was based on oxidation by Mn(III).
