Abstract
The sea-breeze is the most prominent dynamical feature at coastal zones, with thermally induced diurnal boundary layer circulation. These circulations puts certain challenges with respect to local inertia gravity wave circulation and sensitivity to boundary layer parameterization schemes. The factors that affect land and sea-breeze are- diffusion of heat, diurnal variation of ground temperature, Coriolis force, diffusion of momentum, topography and prevailing winds. Though sea breeze modeling is moving at a slow rate as it is very sensitive to small-scale variations, improvements in forcasting local sea breeze type of circulation are taking place.
