Abstract

To the Editor: In the study presented by Simon and Grace concerning coagulopathy and tissue necrosis in rabbits (August 20 issue),* a general conclusion of “surgical debridement and mechanical removal of venom and local necrotic tissue” cannot be an easy parallel to accept for the patient with a rattlesnake bite.
