Abstract
Atomic and molecular dimensions are too small to support significant interactions at radio and microwave frequencies. Two aspects of helical geometry provide the field cross-coupling basis for optical activity. An overview is given on useful equivalent circuit models for both series connected and parallel connected versions of canonical chiral elements.
