Abstract
Figure 5 in the originally published version of the paper incorrectly stated that stars with parallaxes available from the Gaia first data release (DR1) are included in the CTL only if their estimated surface gravity (log g) is consistent with being a dwarf (i.e., log g ≤4.1). The correct procedure, shown in the corrected Figure 5 below, instead uses the stellar radius as the criterion and includes both dwarfs and subgiants according to the relation shown by the blue curve in the Figure 13 inset (right). This is for the sake of consistency between the parallax-based method and the RPMJ-based method, and this also preserves potentially interesting subgiant targets as discussed in Section 4.3.3. Finally, the first sentence of the second paragraph of Section 3.1 should now read as follows: Next, we calculate the stellar radius for all stars with parallax measurements, using the stellar radius and mass estimation algorithms described in Section 3.3.2; whether they are included in or excluded from the CTL depends on whether the estimated stellar radius is, respectively, below or above the blue curve shown in Figure 13 (right). (Figure Presented).
