Abstract

Cervical lymphadenopathy is a common clinical finding and can be attributable to a wide variety of underlying pathology such as reactive lymphadenopathy, granulomatous disease, lymphoma, or malignancies of the head and neck. In addition to a complete history and physical, laboratory workup and imaging may complement clinical findings and facilitate staging of malignancy with implications in both prognosis and management. A systematic approach should be implemented with early referral to a head and neck surgeon should overtly concerning findings manifest.
