Abstract

Transmission measurements on superconducting YBa2Cu3O7 films with circular polarized light show optical activity proportional to magnetic-field strength. The results are discussed within the context of cyclotron (diamagnetic) resonance of the superconducting ground state. Hole conduction is implied.
