Abstract
A study was performed to clear up the factors defining circular polarization (CP) bandwidth in antennas based on dual-mode resonators. Simulation results obtained using the FDTD method provide a new understanding of the mode splitting phenomena that gives a key to control circular polarization in dual-mode antennas.
