Abstract

A user-friendly computer program has been developed that is useful in archiving and graphically plotting normalized radar cross sections (NRCS) of geophysical surfaces. The program, called FINRACS, utilizes a database that includes data obtained by the radar community during the past 30 years. Users store and retrieve data according to frequency bands, polarization, incidence angle, or author name. They compare data obtained by other investigators by overlaying the data on common plots. In addition, FINRACS accepts radar measurements read directly from a disk storage device.
